Nazareth Evangelical College trains leaders, men and women, to follow Christ faithfully and to be equipped and qualified for serving the church in the Holy Land enabling it to have a powerful influence on society according to God’s purposes. Nazareth Evangelical College was established in 2014 as a result of merging Nazareth Evangelical Theological Seminary and Galilee Bible College. Both colleges are experienced in training leaders for local churches and for Christian institutions.

Galilee Bible College was established in the early 1990's and Nazareth Evangelical Theological Seminary was begun in 2007. The current college was founded by three partners:
the Association of Baptist Churches; Bethlehem Bible College; and the Convention of Evangelical Churches in Israel.

A Testimony From a Prisoner
We would like to share the story of Naji (an alias given for protection), a young man who spent nearly 20 years in prison. Naji grew up with a life of difficulties. Ups and downs seemed to follow him in his young life. A few short months ago, Naji, gave his life to the Lord Christ Jesus and he would forever be changed. He contacted me six months ago through a Christian Prison Minister and he began taking a few courses at the NEC. Naji and I talk once or twice a week over the phone and we meet at least once a month. In our conversations a few days ago I asked him this:
Question: “Why are you taking these courses and how are your studies helping you?"
He replied: “Studying God’s Word is like an anchor for me, it gives stability, self-recognition and meaning to life. Studying God’s Word molds me into a useful person, and helps me to become more patient and helps me to face my present and future in a Godly way. My studies feed me spiritually and give me hope to become a better person spiritually and psychologically. The Word also empowers me to be useful to myself and others. The scriptures help me to redeem my past, from a person who took the lives of others, to a person who gives life to others."
"He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners..." - Isaiah 61:1b
Your faithful partnership helps us reach people like Naji. Would you consider investing in Nazareth Evangelical College so we can continue to equip our community to give life to others?
